I heart Fall

IT'S 74 DEGRESS!!! Woohoo! I love fall! And I love the fact that today's high is 85. Yes, I know that's still warm, but this is Texas people. I love me some fall! Please send in the cold!!!

Thanks for your wallpaper tips...I tried the fabric softener thing and the good thing is it takes the back part of the wallpaper down, the bad news? I can't get the front part off to even get to the back part! B realized I was doing it wrong so today I'm going to attempt the right way, plus, I'm going to Home Depot to buy a fabric steamer.

My goal is to get all of the wallpaper down in two of the three bathrooms by Sunday. Hopefully this will be accomplished.  So, I decided to show this beast of heinous wallpaper that must come down...

Isn't that awful! Sorry it's turned funny, I had to get the amazingly gorgeous boarder in there!

I tested out a few paint samples I bought for the kitchen, bathroom and living room. Guess what....I didn't like any of them! I'm not sure what I'm going to do but I'm thinking about calling in HGTV to bring on some help!

Tonight, I will see if I can find anymore paint samples that I like and attempt again to get some of this paper off! Happy Thursday all!

That is heinous!! It could be worse though...after Ryan and I were engaged and I moved into his house, in one of the bedrooms he still hadn't taken down the wallpaper that was covered with puppies!!! I mean really, what are some people thinking?!

Good luck with finding paint colors that you like!

Do you have one of the little paper removal tools? Its a round plastic thing with balls on the otherside that have razors on them? Terrible description, I know, but this little guys really helps! I bet Lowe's has one!

PS...I'm a Texas girl too and I am also SO thankful for a taste of Fall! Yay for 80 degree days vs. 105 degree days!!
