I want to...

Be the kind of girl who:

Lives in Soho...

Where I'll work as a struggling writer

Until I get my break and an office in this magnificent building

and I'll become the kind of girl who wears Chanel...

And Catherine Malandrino...

And rocks hair (but brown, not blonde) and legs like this

And is friends with her...

(This would be her reaction when we haven't seen each other in a while)

And is cool enough to wear $300 aviator sunglasses...
Is that too much to ask?

But for now I will enjoy my amazing husband (seriously, this girl lucked out), my sweet puppies, my new house and my job that is starting to look up.

Let's Celebrate...ME!

I am beyond thrilled today! We are launching a new magazine at my job and guess who will have 2 columns in it?!

ME!

I will be doing a column each month one on a featured bartender and one on a happy hour hotspot.

I'm super excited. We are having head shots taken and everything.  The magazine will be pretty much a listing of live music, club and bar listing and five featured stories (and two are mine!). It will be a full color, 40 page, non-glossy magazine.

WOOHOO!

Totally worth the pennies that I get paid!

This Weekend....

We did nothing. I kid you not. Not. A. Thing! Friday night we were planning to go do dinner and have drinks with friends. Didn't happen. We stayed home, watched movies and had cereal for dinner.

Saturday I went to the grocery store, gave Macee a bath and watched more movies.

Sunday, we went to church and are now watching the Cowboys.

Seriously, nothing.

I am proud to say that I think we may have finally found a home church. We haven't joined yet and want to go back a time or two before we commit but we both enjoyed this church very much. We like the pastor and feel that this could be a great place to grow in our relationship and eventually, raise our children.

say a prayer for us to find the place that God has for us. We think this may be it!

Happy Sunday!
