Can we move in yet?!

Things have been so crazy and exciting all at the same time. We have an open closing date on the house -- meaning as soon as the everything gets done, we close. As of now we are only waiting on the title company. Everything is done! Read it: DONE! We should be closing sometime next week. I'm so excited and ready to have my own space again! The house is amazing and I can't wait to soak in my pool!

Since we have our closing date set up weird, I'm pushing to get ahead at work so that I can leave at a moments notice to go sign my life away. Luckily, my bosses are amazing and have said that it's totally fine. In the midst of all of that, we are training a new guy. My job is a two-person position and my co-worker (who I have way too much fun with) is leaving. She and her husband and daughter are moving 12 hours away to their Hometown, Texas. It really sucks because we share a rather huge office and we have a great time together. It makes the day pass so much quicker. The new guys is actually  pretty hysterical. Except he makes me uncomfortable because he talks about being 3-, fat and lonely...Not a good sign. But he's from California and a little bit of a hippie. I think we'll get along fine...even though I didn't want to share an office with a boy. At all.

Puppy training has been hard. I feel like Jaci doesn't like us because we give her yucky food and Macee thinks I'm being mean. I hate when Macee looks at me with those big eyes! I don't yell at her and will never spank her but I have been fussing at her when she isn't good. And I hate it. Because trust me people, she is BAD. I know she's just a puppy but I have to train her now or she'll really be out of control! One good thing, Macee has potty training down like you wouldn't believe! She's so good about holding it and letting you know when she needs to go out. It took us 4 years to train Jaci! Macee's problem is she just doesn't listen and she's notorious for running off and making me chase her.

Have a great weekend, Ladies! Hopefully by Monday we'll know what day we are closing on!

Pain the neck!

So, for like the last 10  years I've had terrible back pain. Like stay-in-bed-and-not-move kinda pain. I attributed part of the pain to my ridiculously huge boobies. I remedied that last year and still have some pain. It's all in my upper back, along my spine and up to my neck. People have been telling me for years to go to a chiropractor but I'm terrified! So scared that I think they'll break my back or something...

So, my question you...Have you been to a chiropractor before? If so, how long have you been going? Any specific questions I should ask to make sure I'm not getting a quack? Are they really rough when they adjust you?

I'm really nervous but I think I might finally cave and get my back cracked.

People are crazy and should not be allowed in public

Did you ladies hear about the guy who shot up the LA Fitness outside of Pennsylvania? What the heck is wrong with people? I would have been terrified if I were in that gym last night and I know I'll be thinking about it at the gym tonight.

On another note...Thanks for all your sweet comments about Macee and Jaci (pronounced Jackie but I love weird names and weird spellings) yesterday. My poor Jaci is refusing to eat. Macee is letting me give her her allergy medicine pretty easily but ran off from me this morning when I took her potty. She really is out. of. control. I'm going to try and work really hard with her. We did try her on benadryl for a few days but 1. it makes her sleepy and I don't like to alter her personality and 2. it didn't really work. Both medicines I have her on really seem to be working.

Yesterday I nearly had a breakdown when I was running around for meetings. I currently own one pair of black heels have are completely worn out and no work clothes (if you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know I had a breast reduction last fall). Since my surgery I haven't had to shop for summer work clothes so yesterday it was damn near 3,000 degrees outside and I'm running around in old shoes, pants and a 3/4 length sweater. I called hubs in a fuss and went to Macy's after work and bought 2 new pairs of black shoes, a pair of summer capri pants and two shirts. I have tons of clothes but most of them are so old I'd never consider wearing them. I think when we move into the house I'm going to completely clean out my closet and reinvent my wardrobe...well as much reinvention as husband will allow :)

Yesterday Bobby and my brother spent the entire day surfing. I'm excited he finally has a hobby. I truly believe we all need something of our own. What are your hobbies? What is your husband into?

Have a wonderful wednesday ladies! We're halfway there!

Who needs kids?

Especially when you have the two most spoiled and complicated dogs on the planet! Yesterday I had to take Jaci and Macee to the vet because Macee has been really itchy and has had really watery eyes and Jaci because...well, she's fat.

Turns out, Macee has allergies. Yes, allergies! Seriously. So now I have to give her eye drops for the watery and redness and an antihistamine for the itching. Are you kidding me!? Then I got told by the vet that Macee was way too spoiled and out of control. She actually gave me a free download for a Dog Whisperer video! My Macee is perfect! The doctor wants me to hold Macee down on her side once a day until she stops crying and squirming...without me crying. It's horrible to hear her little cries!

When it was Jaci turn, they put her on the scale to tell me that in a weight category of 1 to 5 she was a 4.5, mean she's excessively overweight. It's only 4 pounds people! I had to buy special diet food for her. Isn't that sad? I think it's because husband switched them to wet food and, at four-years-old, started feeding Jaci twice a day. She packed on a few and now needs to get down to 10 pounds. It's kinda sad really.

So, apparently, I'm a terrible mother! My babies are spoiled rotten. I told Bobby I think that it's all because of Chloe dying last March and now all I want to do is protect them and let them have the best life they can while they are here. Well...I'll be sure to keep you updated on the unspoiling process. I wanted to take pictures last night but I was seriously about to cry and couldn't even think about taking pictures of that...
