All I wanna do...

I'm so excited for the weekend! Today I get to leave work at 1 and head to see my honey! Our plan was to spend the entire weekend together packing and hanging out...well, his mother is coming up with me. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I'll have someone to help me pack and I love his mother to death but I haven't seen him in a month. A MONTH! It would have been nice to have some alone time though. He called and asked her to come up with me because he thought I could use some help packing.

I'm at least hoping for a date night (not a double date). We both really want to see The Proposal. Has anyone seen it?

Also, after yesterday's events, I have to say I had no idea Farrah was as bad off as she was. I'm so sad for her and her family and for what she went through. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Well, I don't think I have any enemies, but you know what I mean. And the other event that happened yesterday, we won't mention that because I'm not feeling so compassionate about that one...

Just Two Days...

I'm getting the hang of things at work pretty easily. In fact, easier than I thought. I, apparently, have an amazing boss as well. I mentioned in passing that I'm heading to Mississippi after work on Friday to see my honey and she said that I should leave work around 2 as long as my stuff was turned in (I work at a newspaper = deadlines EVERY DAY). So, I'm super excited to get up there.

Mostly, we'll be spending the weekend packing but at this point, I'm so excited to see him I don't care what we do. We discovered this new update for our iPhones and he's been sending me the sweetest voice memos. Yesterday I got an email from him that memo and when I opened and downloaded it said, "I love you, babe." UGh...melt my heart. I know to some of you a month isn't that long but it's been absolute torture for me so the little things are such a big deal now. He even sings me Elvis songs and it's hysterical and sweet all at the same time. I have to say, I'm pretty sure he loves me. TWO DAYS!! I can't wait! I'm so excited that I can't sleep. 

In other news, we just found out today that he is approved to take his test to receive his Professional Engineer license!! I'm so excited for him. He's worked really hard. Today he got the approval to take the test in October and he will start a testmaster's class in August to prep him. So...pray for him, please! He's smart as a whip and a very hard worker/studier so I'm sure he'll be fine but a few extra shout-outs to the Big Man Upstairs won't hurt!

I have to say, I'm not surprised...

So did you guys see last night's episode of Jon & Kate? They are officially divorcing and I must say, I'm not surprised at all. In the few years that the show has been on, I didn't even think they liked each other. She a B and he's been checked out for a long time! He actually said he's excited about this stage of his life? I didn't ever consider divorce a stage of life but whatev. OH, and he pierced both of his ears! EWWwwww. Hello, mid-life crisis! I feel so bad for those poor kids and their stage parents. They are so cute and this will be so sad for them to go through.

Well, I'm off to work. I'm feeling a little better this morning. Last night was bad, I felt horrible. I am on an anitbiotic and some medicine to reduce inflamation. Because of when I had the stone and kidney infection, I couldn't ever tell when I actually had to use the restroom or if I just had the senation and guess what. It led to another infection. My bladder is inflamed from "holding it". Is that the craziest thing you've ever heard?! I'm like a walking paycheck for the insurance company right now.

I'm so excited for tonight's reunion of Real Housewives of NJ! I love Teresa and her new bubbies! Have a wonderful day, ladies!

iChatting Away...

Bobby finally got a webcam so we were able to video chat tonight! It was so nice to see his face after almost a month. I've been so lonely and missed him so much over the last few weeks. I think it's partly because I haven't been feeling well and all I want to do is to curl up next to him (and my pups). But tonight we got to see each other!

I know I say this often, but you military spouses are amazing! It's so hard to be away from Bobby for a short time and I can't imagine what you through. 

I'm still feeling pretty horrible...so short post today....Have a great Monday night!
