The Vigilante & The Power of Prayer

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you all for your prayers! My grandpa is doing great and was able to go home yesterday! All they can find is that he may have pulled a chest muscle -- can you believe it! I think God knew I wasn't ready to be with out my grumpa -- that's what I call him, he fusses at us a lot :)

Another note about my crazy family! My cousin, the vigilante, has struck again! You have to know her, she's wild & crazy, your typical biker chick, and would do anything for anyone she loves. My mom was telling me about this one time they were in the car and Jackie, the vigilante, stopped at a red light and went over to a car where this guy was hitting on his girlfriend, drug him out of the car and "kicked his a**". No, she did not know the girl, she just felt like it was the right thing to do. So, the other night, she was out with her girlfriends for HH when this guy stole her friend purse. Did she worry that the 21-year-old could have a gun? Nope, she, at 44-years-old, took off after the punk, jumped over a 5-foot fence, shattered her knee, and held the kid until the cops came. TALK ABOUT JUSTICE! He got his butt kicked by a girl! CLICK HERE to read the coverage in the Galveston Daily News.

Have a great weekend, ladies! I've got a busy one ahead of me! Baseball game, baby shower and bridal shower tomorrow!

XOXO,
Stevy

Please Pray

Hey Ladies --

I need your help! My grandpa had to be taken to the hospital for chest pains...It wasn't a heart attack but they aren't sure what caused it. He is having tests run today and I would appreciate any thoughts and prayers you ladies could offer. My grandpa is my world and I would be so upset if anything were to happen to him.

In lighter news: my new hair!
XOXO,

Stevy

Thank you, Thank you Very Much.

Wow, we have been so crazy busy lately! Last weekend I got to go to Mississippi to see the hubs. It was great to see him! I know it's only been like 2 weeks so for most of you, that's nothing. But it sucked! I drove up on Friday and we just spent the night in watching movies - Role Models (hilarious), Seven Pounds (very weird), and Bedtime Stories (I like, Hubs thought it was cheesy).
Saturday, B got off early and we decided to go to Memphis. It was so much fun! We saw an Elvis impersonator, a Johnny Cash and BB King impersonator. They have this street called Beal Street that they block off and  have street performers, live music and you can buy drinks through windows, it's so much fun!

Sunday was Easter, as you all know, and since we didn't have any family nearby, we spent the day at the house in the photo...Can you guess where that is?
GRACELAND! That's right, people, I spent Easter at Elvis' house! It was fun! Never a place I wanted to go, although, I'm usually along for the ride and up for anything, but it was so much fun and very interesting! After that we made our way back to MS to pack up for Houston...and guess what I found...a MOUSE! Is that not the most disgusting thing ever! I'm kind of embarrassed to even tell you this, but, for some reason, I'm telling you. So, we called the landlord and hopefully it'll be taken care of before I get back into town. UGH, I hate the country -- not the US, like farms and stuff.

Last Thursday's party was a blast! Still waiting on pictures though! I'll post about it soon!

Oh, and I cut my hair -- very short! I really need to post more often, these are too long and rambling...

XOXO,

Stevy
