I FOUND IT!!!!

The perfect look for my living room! I stopped by the grocery store and in while I was in checking out I was looking through the magazines and there on the cover was what I want my living room to look like.

I'm going to use this cover as my "inspiration" to find pieces that I like...Only problem? I have no idea where to find this stuff...I found the ottoman on overstock.com but  they are sold out. I found a similar white oversized chair at Pottery Barn...for $2,000!! That's too much for a chair in my opinion. 

So, here's where you come in...Any ideas on where I can look for furniture? I'm going to look at some furniture stores this weekend but I'm not sure how it will work  buying my living room in pieces rather than a set. We shall see! I'm so excited!

On another note...I have a lot of free time at work since I work so far ahead of schedule and I've really been thinking about what my next career move would be. In reality, I'm sure I'll never be the next Kelly Rippa and I'm really trying to decide where I need to go from here. I plan on staying here for another 9 months. I know that seems like i have a long time to keep looking, but I'm trying to decide what I want to do. If I want to get back into PR, stick with writing or design. I've thought about doing a design business and doing print work for company's and individuals. I'm just really unsure right now. Part of me would still love to pack up my bags, my dogs and my husband and head for NY (especially when it's nine thousand degrees here in Texas!). I've tried to really think about if I want to be a stay-at-home wife or not...I'm just really unsure. I feel like I should have it all figured out already. I did graduate college 2  years ago!

I'm so proud of my husband though. He works so hard is always so sure of what his next step should be. He's really great at his job, has a work ethic like no other person I've ever met and really has a lot to be proud of when it comes to his career...(and his personal life...he did land an awesome wife if I do say so myself!) I'm really proud of him and I really admire the way he's handled his career. Hopefully I can learn from him and take that kind of direction and have that kind of confidence he has in my career.

Bend over and touch your toes!

Well, I was back up this morning for my run! It was nice  and actually made it to work on time! School traffic kills me! This morning I realized just how out of shape I am! I could barely touch my toes! Ireally need to work on my flexibility....That's where you come in!

I need to learn new stretches...what do you do? How do you stay flexible? HELP!

Speaking of bending over and touching your toes....Has anyone watched Kourtney and Khloe take Miami? 'Cause I'm lovin' it! I loved Keeping Up With the Kardashians but only because of Kourtney and Khloe...Kim is stupid and a little mean but the other girls are ha-larious! I can't wait for Sunday when Khloe tries to pimp out Kourtney hehe!! 

I'm really excited because my good friend SAS will be in town tonight and  I can't wait to see her! She's coming from Dallas and will only be here for 2 nights so I'm beyond thrilled!!!

What do you mean you don't know who I am?!

I'm really excited! Yesterday I got asked by one of the local schools to be a "Celebrity Reader" for their kindergarten library hour twice a semester! That's right people, I'm a celebrity! 

Ok, Ok...I'm not really a celebrity...and the school is actually one of my clients. But I really feel honored that they asked me to come represent the paper and read to the class. I thought it was really sweet and I'm really excited to be able to do it. I have my first "appearance" next month. My boss was really cool about the whole thing and  said that as long as I was going to represent the paper, they were behind me!

Maybe one day I'll get paid for my celebrity...

Last night I had the craziest dream. I decided I didn't want to run this morning and that I would do so this evening...well, apparently my body thinks I'm lying and depriving it of what it needs. I had all kinds of crazy, scary dreams last night that I got really obese, had heart problems and couldn't get back in shape...Apparently, my dreams felt guilty for not running...

As you know, we are going to Vegas in October. I think I might be getting too old to dress up for Halloween, but I'll be in Vegas (said in a whiney tone...) I have to dress up! And I need to be something cute and creative....Any ideas?

Anna Wintour & My tropical paradise...

Did you guys see David Letterman last night? Well, I didn't because Comcast is ruining my life and I missed Anna Wintour as a guest. (Comcast conveniently had an outage yesterday and we had no cable, no internet and no phone...seriously, they suck.)

Anyway, I was able to catch on YouTube this morning...thank goodness for that! You know, I don't care how mean people say she is, I love her and want to meet her. I'd love to be her when I grow up, too! When I went to NY in May, me and my best friend saw Jennifer Hudson and I thought, "Hey, I just saw Jennifer Hudson, that's cool." I think if I saw Anna Wintour I would literally act a fool....seriously, I think all reason would go out the door and I would be a star-crazed idiot...

Seriously, I cannot wait to get my hands a copy of the September Vogue!

So yesterday I blogged about my obsession in the award post. I had one obsession that I felt deserved it's own post....Ready for this???
