Who says chop sticks are for sushi?

Staying home this weekend paid off! I was so very sad to miss the get together my college girls were having but I'm battling on heck of a kidney stone on top of my morning sickness. Which, have I mentioned the term "morning sickness" is about as big of a lie as "spring" and "fall" are in the great state of Texas. Needless to say, I was head-in-the-trash-can-kinda-sick all weekend! Luckily, things are looking up today.

I have two interviews for a couple of articles I'm writing today so I'm glad to finally be working again! I hate when I have slumps and would prefer to work constantly. I am also in the process of taking over the editor job of the newsletter for my chapter of Junior League. While I'm thrilled to pieces, there is so much work that goes into transferring the job that it's become a pain the size of...well...a kidney stone. :)

Last weekend we out to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday! They had sushi, her fave, I had chicken from the hibachi (gross), and dear nephew had McDonald's. We go to this restaurant so often that the owners let my sister bring in food for her boys. Isn't that sweet? Well, my oldest nephew didn't want to be left out of the chop stick gang.

Poor quality, thank, iPhone. I need to get in a better habit of carrying one of my three cameras around before my little flicker gets here in October!

He kept saying, "Aunt Sissy, want a nugget?" Haha, yes, they call me Sissy. And I answer.

Happy Monday, friends!
