A Great Weekend! Thanks to New Girl!

What a great weekend we had! Friday I disappointingly only had three trick-or-treaters, though I had a feeling that might be the case. After the trick-or-treaters we went the casinos with our neighbors -- who I love!

Saturday, since I let the hubs stay out a later than I wanted to (on his own!), he decided he should do something nice for me in return. So, after raving about a trip posted by New Girl, he took me to Natchitoches for the night! It was a perfect day! I got up early Saturday morning to get some work done and when I was finished, he said, "Get your bags packed, we're going to a B&B!" I was so excited.

This is a picture of the B&B we stayed at.
This is a park in Natchitoches, The Virginia Ruth Baker Memorial Park, that was named after my best friend, G's Great-Grandmother! This is also the park where the easter egg hunt at the end of Steel Magnolias was filmed.

Virginia Ruth Baker Park, again
Isn't this seriously creepy!? This was a tree outside a BEAUTIFUL home...I would be scared to meet these people!
This is the house where Steel Magnolias was filmed. It is now a B&B. We tried to stay there but it was booked. Maybe next time.
This is just a picture of a church in town. I thought it was really pretty.

We had such a great time! There are more pictures that I will post tomorrow from Day 2 of our trip. As well as one picture that I think deserves it's own post!

XOXO,

I'm so glad you enjoyed Natchitoches! Everyone raves about the Christmas Festival they have there so we both should make sure we check that out.

Great pics by the way!
