Tonight I'm meeting up with my neighbors to (hopefully) hand out candy to the little Trick-or-Treaters. Every year, I prepare intensely for trick-or-treaters and they never come! This year, since we are in a house, I'm so hoping to have the little ghosts and goblins knocking at our door! I'm still thinking of dressing up, but I don't know if anyone else is and I'm not too keen on lookin' like a fool!
I was thinking about a really funny Halloween video that my college roommate and I made one Halloween. We dressed up and just happened to pull out the video to make a little movie. It was pretty hilarious. I would love to post it for you guys, but don't worry Casey, I wouldn't do that to you. Partly for the fact that I would think you come all the way back from Germany just to kill me! After that Halloween, the guy I was dating at the time and some other friends and I went to the cemetery to see this black statue of Jesus. 1) I should have known that guy wouldn't last! 2) Yes, the statue was a black Jesus and it was definitely referred to as The Black Jesus.
Anyway, Monday the Hubs and I are taking 1/2 day off of work to drive to my hometown so we can vote. I never received my absentee ballot! But, I'm so excited to see my family, my nephew and brother especially!
And then...VOTING DAY! I'm so excited. And, I'm kinda excited to actually go to the polls! It's much more fun than voting by mail. So, have a safe and Happy Halloween everyone!

Oh crap. I do remember the costume, or lack there of, but I don't remember the video. This can't be good.
And the Black Jesus, well that's a whole 'nother story.
I had to think for awhile to remember who you were dating. I think he and I are still Facebook friends. Ha!
