Last night I had a minor panic attack as my pre-election jitters set in. I laid awake for hours thinking about what would happen if that free-loading-lover Obama got in office. I just have to say, I moved from Houston to work in a tiny, crappy little town (not Shreveport) and I work 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, M-F and half a day on Saturday. Why, you ask. To make money. Granted, my husband and I make really good money, but I do not feel like I should have to pay for some hippie who is too lazy to get a job to live. Call it selfish, whatever, I don't care! I just feel like people should do what they have to in order to take care of themselves and their families! We do not need a bigger government with their Big Brother hands and eyes on every move Americans make. I'm so not for the "Change" that Barak wants to bring about and I don't get why we should give people on government assistance, more assistance! Granted, there are issues I disagree with McCain about. But, I'm pretty sure unless I were president, I'm always gonna disagree some with whoever the candidate is. I'm all for a Capitalist way of life, not a Socialist. This is America, after all.
In other sad news. If you've been reading for a while, you'll know I have a 3-month-old nephew. He's having liver problems and they are STILL unsure of what's wrong. They are thinking it's something genetic -- which has my poor sister a wreck! He is progressing, though they have no idea what's wrong, why he's getting better or how he is getting better. Please continue to pray for them. It's killing me being away!
Ok, enough with being a grump! Since I haven't been on in a few days, I found out today that I won a giveaway that Mojito Maven had! I'm so excited! Check out her oh-so-cute blog! I will definitely be posting pictures when I receive it! Thanks so much Mojito Maven!

I am SOOOO afraid that Obama is going to be elected. He is such a schmoozing liar. I fear that so many people are going to make an uneducated decision based on a lot of smooth talking rhetoric. Last time someone mobilized this many people through speech was Hitler. Not exactly an optimistic comparison...
So tonight in Bible study we were discussing the anti-christ. Revelations (and Daniel, which we are studying) talks a lot about his ability to entice people with words, about his good looks, and about the destruction he will cause. The first thing that popped in my mind was Obama. Especially as a military wife, it's just not good.
Prayers for your nephew too :( I know this must be rough for Jen.
I'm so sorry about sweet little Jeremiah! Good grief..do we need a break or what?! Let's just take off...hit the road...or the friendly skies. I'm not partial.
