Great Times, Old Friends

Today I'm sitting at Best Friend's apartment in Dallas awaiting our flight to New York. Last night was such a great night, I can't even explain to you how great it was. When I first went off to college I went to a private, very small, Baptist college. I was only there for two year before I transferred and graduated from Sam Houston State. While I was at UMHB I made some really great friends that I wish I had done a better job of keeping up with.

Last night Best Friend and I went to Johnny Carinos to meet up some of those friends. M & A, who were possibly the two greatest people ever. Don't get the wrong impression, I'm not a guys girl and most of my good friends are girls but M was one my best friends our freshman year. He was such a good friend to me at a time when I needed one. A and I got to know each other later in our freshman year when she and M started dating. She one of those girls you just love because she so stunningly beautiful but doens't have a clue that she is. She showed up rockin' a pair of jeans and a top and looked amazing. And she's one of those people who when she asks how you've been, you know she really wants to know. By the way, she's an amazing photographer. Check out her
blog and if you're in Dallas, give her a call. She does weddings, kids, senior photos, anything! I couldn't go to their wedding because I had summer finals that week so the last time I had seen them was 5 years ago! Crazy, no? It was fun because I was trying to talk A into joining us on our girls trip to NY, she so wanted to go but couldn't go because she has a shoot this weekend. And I know KBiggs would have LOVED for me to show up with her! So, here are a few pictures from last night.

M, A and me!

Best Friend, Me and A
I think it's crazy how we get older and grow up and we don't keep in touch as much with people who have meant so much to us. So, hopefully it'll be less than five years before I see these two again!
We are still on the house hunt! I looked at a few houses yesterday but didn't find one. I did narrow down some choices to let the realtor know exaclty what I'm looking for. Do you think it's crazy that B and I are trying to find a house that's good for entertaining? We love to have people over and we actually passed on an amazing townhouse because guests would have to park nearly 2 blocks away and walk. So, I've found 12 more houses! I'm going to drive by and check out the neighborhoods on Tuesday and then meet with the realtor to see the ones that I like from the outside on Wednesday. So, wish us luck!!
By the way, off to NY tomorrow so I won't be posting again until Monday night or Tuesday. Don't forget to blog about my giveaway and let all your friends know! I actually hope to get another giveaway while I'm in NY!!!

I hope you trip is a blast! House hunting can be so trying! B and I looked at so many until we finally found our "diamond in the rough" condo. Its a good thing you're considering the fact that you love to entertain, because I didn't and I don't have a whole lot of space for that. I'm thinking of having a bbq for B's birthday in June, and the guest list will be pretty sad because we cannot accomodate many people.
