What a Weekend

So, as most of you readers know, I was forced - yes that's right, forced - to work on Saturday. My boss who came to work late was "sick". She was here for less than two hours before heading home. And of course, we got nothing done. What a waste of a day!

Friday night the hubs and I went to have dinner. We went to a really nice restaurant that I can't remember the name of for the life of me! We had some really great wine and crab. Seriously, YUM! The table behind us had a group of people, 2 guys and one girl. One guy was so obnoxious! It was really crazy. Being the eaves dropper that I am, I heard him telling the couple, who it sounded like he barely knew, about some woman he "Didn't give a sh** about and hoped to God that she would suffer." Yeah, brutal, right?

Saturday after work we went for a late lunch and then headed home where we both took a much needed nap. We went for drinks and then to see that movie Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. I was  not really interested in seeing it and was pretty indifferent about the whole thing. However, it was really good. It sort of has a Super Bad meets Dazed and Confused feel. It's about a group of high school kids in NYC on the search for a band. Anyway, it was really funny. Very dry and witty. And sort of reminded me of college...

So, Sunday we slept until 10:30 a.m.! That's how tired we were! We took our pup for a little walk, ran some errands and came home to the disappointment that is the Dallas Cowboys. I didn't get much reading done but I'm dying to dive into my book...Hopefully tonight. Also, after being out of college for a year and half, I've finally got my degree framed! I pick it up tonight!!

XOXO,

Your weekend sounds great, minus the crummy coming in to work on Saturday.

Sean and I are Dallas fans, but very upset with their performance lately!

I love Oak Alley's driveway too! I've always dreamed of having a Greek Revivial house with trees like that outside and me on the porch sippig a mint julep. :)

It took me forever to get my degree framed and hung...but it is on the walL now!

I think I might need to see that movie...I unually thing that type of movie is funny. I especially love Dazed and Confused.

It sounds like you had a nice relaxing weekend minus the work part!
