AAAHHHH!

Today's house hunt was a total disaster! I had to cut it short! So, yesterday this realtor sends me a list of houses and I decide to check out the outside and the neighborhoods to see if they are even worth dragging the hubs to. So I load up my girls (mistake #1) and hit the road. I've got an iPhone so I use that as my GPS. I had 10 houses that I wanted to check out today. That was my goal. However, out of 6, I could only find 1! The entire time I was driving, Chloe (the baby) was barking. Loudly. Jaci wasn't much better. She was whining the entire time!! They were driving me insane!

While I was driving, I saw like 5 GORGEOUS houses for sale. I called to see if the owners would consider renting and, of course, they said no. When I proceeded to ask the realtors if they had any homes for rent, they told me to look on the internet or in the paper. Um, duh!  Excuse me for not having $500,000 to drop on a house I'm only going to live in for six months! So I gave up on the other 4 and went back to the hotel.

I'm emailing back and forth with a realtor right now to see if she has anything. Her response was that she had one. One house.  That's all. And she only deals with rentals. I'm about to go check it out. I don't think we're going to get a pool or the lake...

XOXO,

On The Hunt!

I'm just getting ready to head out (get lost) to a few surrounding towns and look houses! I'm excited. However the place the hubs works seems to be ghetto country. You know, lots of "New and Beautiful Double Wides!", big tires in the yard, red barns; basically a Trace Adkins song.

However, I've managed to find some really nice ones. My husband really wants to live on the lake, I really want a house with a pool. We don't have a boat and I'm not about to float around in a lake so, we'll have to see what I can find. Hopefully something that will please us both. I'm going to check out neighborhoods today before I make appointments to see the actual houses with the realtor. I don't want to have to be like, "Um, yeah, lets move on to number 15 because I ain't about to have them as my neighbors!"

So, wish me luck ladies! I forgot my camera cord back in Shreveport but hopefully I can post some photos next week!

XOXO,

Honest Scrap!

Thanks, Casey for tagging me for the Honest Scrap award. Now that I'm back to blogging, I'm finally posting it! What a way to come back!

The rules are as follows:

1) Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design.

2) Show the 7 winners names and links on your blog, and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with "Honest Scrap." Well, there's no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon.
3) List at least 10 honest things about yourself.
And the 10 things you always wanted to know are...

1.  Growing up, I didn't really like animals. I thought they all smelled. Now, I'm in love with my two dogs. I call them my babies and I seriously feel guilty for leaving them home alone for too long.

2.  I've always wanted to be a writer. A way famous one. I should probably do something about that.

3.  I'm so spoiled that when I go to the mall and cannot buy anything, I want to throw a fit. I try so hard not to get disappointed when I don't get what I want, but in all honesty, it seriously upsets me. Isn't that awful!

4.  I have the greatest husband in the world. Who usually gives me whatever I want.

5.  I want my brother to think I'm cool.

6.  I absolutely love going to the movies. Even if it's a movie I don't want to see, I'll still go. I love it! No idea why...

7.  When I was very young, I couldn't watch movies with sorcery or witchcraft but my dad took me to see White Men Can't Jump.

8.  I'm obsessed with my wedding ring and losing it is one of my biggest fears.

9.  I hate getting my nails done but I love getting my toes done.

10. I desperately want to live in New York. Even if it's just for six months.
