Then the guy proceeded to tell me to change the source about 462 times. I only have 3 sources so I didn't get that. Plus, once source had no cables attached to it and the other was attached to the DVD player so I knew which one it needed to be on. He kept asking me to reconnect the box myself...um, hello! If I knew how to do that, I'd be the person answering the phone calls when customers called!
I am so frustrated with Comcast. I now have no tv in my living room and no wireless internet. All because Comcast is full of a bunch of idiots who hire other idiots who don't know what they are doing. I sad on the phone with them for over an hour and got nothing accomplished. Then, when my husband got home, he did the same...with nothing accomplished.
I did call to file a formal complaint yesterday. Something I've never done before. The supervisor who took my complaint said, in these exact words, "Ma'am, I understand you are frustrated but you are not the only customer who doesn't get service on the day they go out there. Sometimes they send a guy who specializes in internet and he can't do the cable."
WHAT?! Seriously?! At that point, I thought I was being punked and was ready to punch Ashton Kutcher in the face! I was really really nice about the whole thing until he said that...then I unleashed and told him that Comcast had a bunch of idiots running the business and they should have sent 3 people out if that's what it took the get the job done.
I miss Direct TV...too bad they are so freaking expensive!
