I'm Back! And I'm Sorry, Casey...

Ok, I have to admit it. I almost gave on the blog. I know you are all probably gasping in shock and disgust, but there it is. Out into the blogosphere. Well, I've decided against it, and here I am.

Lately, I've been very busy with the pup. Who, has in fact, taught me how so not ready for kids I am. After being home with us for a week, she managed to fall, scrating her eyeball. I, in a crazy panic, rushed her to the vet. She is fine. She has been on some meds and has been keeping me at night to go potty every two hours! She is now finally off the medicine and will now have her food picked up at 6 p.m. from now on. Hopefully, this will end some of the potty breaks.

I have to admit my reason for not blogging lately. I've turned into one of those self-loathing people that I despise. Let me just preface this by saying, you military wives are so my heros. I don't see how you stand being away from your spouses. Bobby has been working so much and my only friend in Louisiana moved out of the state and then, I find out that we are moving to Mississippi. UGH! I so don't want to live in Mississippi. We'll be staying somewhere outside of Jackson. I've never been there but hopefully it'll be nice and have something to do other than casinos!

Fortunately, this job the hubs is on will be over soon and we should be back in Houston.

This week Bobby is on the road for work and I came back to Houston for my brother's 13th birthday. I cannot believe he is going to be 13! But I'm happy to be spending the week with family! Beats being home alone!

Also, Casey tagged me for an honesty award...I'll definitely get to that soon!
XOXO,
Stevy

Don't worry, we are coming to visit soon. I've already been looking at flights to Jackson :) Now if we can get the boys to confirm a date...

My husband is gone all the time, too. Fortunately, he is gone three or four days a week and usually back for the weekends so it isn't too bad. Hang in there! You'll be my neighbor (I'm in AL).. though I haven't really been to Mississippi much so I don't have a whole lot to tell you. Sorry!

Yeah! I'm glad you are back! (And I can't believe Jason is 13!)

It's hard for us when our husband goes away too, but eventually you get used to it. (Jordan leaves Saturday!) The biggest thing though is having other military wives who understand. My spouses group was essential to me making it through 4 months here by myself.

Maybe you will meet a fun group of girls in Mississippi? Ooo and maybe you could even pick up a cool accent!

Hey you.. didnt know you were in town~! I talked to Jay and told him we wouldnt be making the "party" since we are doing the Humble cookoff. But I would have like to see you (CHINESE!!) let me know how long you are staying in town... Also, not sure if Gail told you but Grams had been sick the last couple of weeks she is finally getting better. But if your in town you might want to give her a call to see how she's doing and say HI. Hope to see ya soon! Love ya - Aunt Samantha

Oh no!! Don't ever give up blogging.

Us Milspouses aren't really all that heroic. You would do the same exact thing if you were in my shoes. It's just the cards we're dealt in life.

I wish we lived closer cause I think Piper would totally appreciate a play date with your pup.

Have a wonderful weekend. I'm off to add you to my blogroll! :)
