Thank you!!!

Thank you all for the congrats! We are really excited. I have spent the last tweleve weeks hovering over the trash can/toilet, constantly sick and in a state of worry. I'm so worried because of what friends and families have gone through with their first pregnancies that I am terrified mine won't make it. But I am hopeful and I choose to allow God to guide me because I cannot function with the worry.

I need to get over to Annie's blog and copy her weekly pregnancy posts. I love that and think it would be a great way to keep up with the journey.

This weekend I was supposed to head to Dallas to see some dear friends from college but I've decided not to go. I'm not feeling my best and I'm too nervous to make the drive myself.

So instead...I'm looking forward to sunny skis and high temps so I can lay around the pool all weekend...and Sunday...I will attempt to eat crawfish for the second time this season and will pray that the baby will allow me do so...

Boy, oh boy...or girl?!

As many of you may have read, dear husband and I were planning a trip to Europe to celebrate our third anniversary. However, just a few days after my post, we decided to postpone the trip until October due to some work commitments that B had in April...

About a week after that...our plans really changed when I got a late birthday present...

That's right folks...That would be two pink lines you see. Meaning, in just 28-ish weeks, we will be welcoming a new little baby into our home.

As of today, I am officially 12 weeks...and ecstatic. I debated heavily on when I wanted to tell, which is why I've been absent for so long, I didn't think I could blog without saying anything. But we saw a strong heartbeat at 6 weeks and I heard a strong heartbeat on Monday afternoon.

I'm not Facebook official yet, just not quite ready. I'm easing into it and decided to do this first since it's a bit more private and gives me the opportunity to document the entire experience! Plus, I don't think I'll announce on Facebook at all. I'll just wait for someone to out me I guess.

We are so thrilled and I'm so happy to be back...again! Hehe! Keep us in your prayers over the next several months, we are hoping and praying for happy and healthy pregnancy!!

What do you wear?

Ok, so as many of you know, I am now "working from home." I spend the majority of my day at home, sans gym and errand time. My question for you ladies...What do you wear when you are lounging at home? I 'm not one of those girls who can stay in PJ's all day. I feel the way I look...Meaning, if I look like crap, I feel that way. But, on the flip side (yes, I just said the flip side), I don't want to get all fancy to hang out at home.

I have the blue version of this purple get-up and I have the black pants that I basically LIVE in!

I actually like to wear stuff like this and, with a little hair and makeup, don't feel like a complete slob. However, I feel like I'm spending my future kids' college fund every time I buy more than one outfit from VS...Anybody have any tips on where to get stuff like this? Old Navy has great prices but I feel like their loungewear makes me look like I have man parts. Eww.

To keep me occupied while I'm cleaning and working, B bought me this little toy:

I am obsessed with it! I love being able to hear whatever I want because, let's face it, you never hear Snoop, NKOTB, Miranda Lambert and Dr. Dre on the same stations, ever. It's the Bose iPod Speaker and if you're considering investing in one, I would go Bose! It's so loud and clear. It was a bit more expensive than some of the others but it was so much better.

Today I get to spend the day with this little cutie!

This is Amelia, mine and Bobby's goddaughter...she's a doll!! I get to keep her from 11 am until 9:30 tonight! Definitely parenting practice, except for the fact that I get to give her back. Her momma and daddy work together and they both have training about an hour from our hometown today. I'm just thrilled, wish me luck!!!
