Who Knew Working Out Could Be So Much Fun

Lately I've been totally inspired. I'm kinda weird when it comes to working out. It's really hard for me to get into it when I take time off but once I do, I actually really enjoy it. Like REALLY. One of new favorite blog reads is The Fitnessista. She seriously has me wanting to quit my job and be a fitness trainer. Check out her blog for training tips and healthy (delicious-looking) recipes!

Yesterday I mentioned that my sister and I were going to take a Zumba class...Well, we did and ohmygosh was it fun! It was really hard to keep up with the instructor and for a little minute there I was wondering when they were going to bring out the poles and 4" heels, but it was a blast! We had such a good time I think we are going back on Thursday. It's not an insanely hard workout, though we both thing that if we could actually have kept up with her, it would have been harder.

Tonight we are going to do either kickboxing or spin class. Not sure which one but I think it's going to be spin -- and maybe the ab class before it.

Things are going full speed ahead on the house! We've scheduled the inspector and appraisal for next weekend and we close in 17 days! I can't believe it's so close! We are really excited to be our little city dwelling. We talked about buying in a suburb of Houston but realized we are SO not ready for that. We both really want to enjoy the city while we can and have both always wanted to live in this area. I'll be so excited once everything finally comes through. I'll be back up there Saturday morning so hopefully I can get some almost done pics of the house to post.

I'm so excited for the weekend! We are finally having my cousin's graduation party so that will be so much fun! Is it sad that I'm wishing away the next few weeks of my life?

By the way -- thanks for all of your sweet comments yesterday. If you couldn't tell, I was so excited that it required a second posting in one day!

I bet YOU never had this much fun moving!

The last few days have been so hectic! I've been sitting at the house in Shreveport with no cable packing and taking care of all the last minute details that go into moving. Yesterday I had a house full of packers packing up our Shreveport life and helping us prepare for Mississippi. I had things that I wanted in my car and things that I wanted them to pack for me. I separated the stuff I would pack and take into a pile and pointed it out. After they left, I decided to something I had never done before: Go to dinner alone! Can you believe I did that? Cause I can't. So, back to the beginning...I, obviously, needed to take a shower so I head to the master restroom where all of my stuff was laid out. As I shuffle through the mess, I realize they definitely took all of my shower stuff. My body wash, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream and razor. Yep. Well, I still needed to shower so I washed my body and hair with...wait for it....wait for it....face wash!

After my "shower" I went to the Olive Garden. I worked hard and wanted something good for dinner.  I ate at the bar and it really wasn't a big deal. I thought I would feel stupid but I so didn't. Oh, and I have to mention, I most definitely got hit on by a 5-year-old!

Then, today the movers come. Since we had so much stuff and are moving several hours away, they loaded today and will come to MS with all of our stuff tomorrow. I have to say, this was quite interesting. There were four guys, two hard workers, a lazy kid and an old man who thought that since he was old, he was the boss. Two of the guys literally got into a fight. Hilarious! They were yelling at each other on my front lawn! What did I do, you ask? I stood at the window (that didn't have curtains) to watch while simultaneously cracking up. It was awesome

So, I know I've been a bad blogger lately, but I'll be without internet for a few days starting tomorrow. But, when I come back, I promise you all some long-awaited pictures of the new house.

XOXO,

Thank You & Confessions Review (Finally)

I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words and support. I have to say, I'm really surprised at the way I've reacted to losing my Chloe. We still haven't received the autopsy results yet. Hopefully tomorrow morning. I'm so anxious to get them. I called around to several vet clinics and they all said I should have waited another month or two before putting her under for surgery. My husband and I have talked about getting another one, not to replace Chloe, but to help us move on a little.

In other news, the move has become official. We will get the lease on Monday for the new place, I've scheduled all of our utilities to be turned off next Friday and I'm meeting with the movers and packers next week. We should be in our new house next Saturday!

So, I mentioned on Valentine's Day that the hubs and I went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic...WORST. MOVIE. EVER. I was so disappointed in it. The books are hilarious and fun, the movie was rushed, boring and didn't make sense. My husband is a really good sport when it comes to chick flicks but even he didn't like this one. By the 27th glance at his watch, I knew he was bored. The girls behind us thought it was the best movie ever. Don't get me wrong there were, to be exact, two funny parts. They didn't take the time to develop the characters or their relationships at all. So, my recommendation, don't bother.

XOXO,

On The Hunt!

I'm just getting ready to head out (get lost) to a few surrounding towns and look houses! I'm excited. However the place the hubs works seems to be ghetto country. You know, lots of "New and Beautiful Double Wides!", big tires in the yard, red barns; basically a Trace Adkins song.

However, I've managed to find some really nice ones. My husband really wants to live on the lake, I really want a house with a pool. We don't have a boat and I'm not about to float around in a lake so, we'll have to see what I can find. Hopefully something that will please us both. I'm going to check out neighborhoods today before I make appointments to see the actual houses with the realtor. I don't want to have to be like, "Um, yeah, lets move on to number 15 because I ain't about to have them as my neighbors!"

So, wish me luck ladies! I forgot my camera cord back in Shreveport but hopefully I can post some photos next week!

XOXO,
