Thank you, Thank you Very Much.

Wow, we have been so crazy busy lately! Last weekend I got to go to Mississippi to see the hubs. It was great to see him! I know it's only been like 2 weeks so for most of you, that's nothing. But it sucked! I drove up on Friday and we just spent the night in watching movies - Role Models (hilarious), Seven Pounds (very weird), and Bedtime Stories (I like, Hubs thought it was cheesy).
Saturday, B got off early and we decided to go to Memphis. It was so much fun! We saw an Elvis impersonator, a Johnny Cash and BB King impersonator. They have this street called Beal Street that they block off and  have street performers, live music and you can buy drinks through windows, it's so much fun!

Sunday was Easter, as you all know, and since we didn't have any family nearby, we spent the day at the house in the photo...Can you guess where that is?
GRACELAND! That's right, people, I spent Easter at Elvis' house! It was fun! Never a place I wanted to go, although, I'm usually along for the ride and up for anything, but it was so much fun and very interesting! After that we made our way back to MS to pack up for Houston...and guess what I found...a MOUSE! Is that not the most disgusting thing ever! I'm kind of embarrassed to even tell you this, but, for some reason, I'm telling you. So, we called the landlord and hopefully it'll be taken care of before I get back into town. UGH, I hate the country -- not the US, like farms and stuff.

Last Thursday's party was a blast! Still waiting on pictures though! I'll post about it soon!

Oh, and I cut my hair -- very short! I really need to post more often, these are too long and rambling...

XOXO,

Stevy

Hilarious! And No, It's Not Mean!

Remember when I posted this blog about going to Biloxi, Ms to the casino? Well, on that trip I made of little video of Macee. Macee has turned out to be my spoiled rotten little one -- though, I have no idea how she got to be so spoiled. On the way there, I made her ride in the back seat of the truck with Jaci. The video below was her response to the torture I inflict upon her...

Isn't she the cutest thing ever!? She is so bad, but you have to admit, this is pretty hilarious!

AAAHHHH!

Today's house hunt was a total disaster! I had to cut it short! So, yesterday this realtor sends me a list of houses and I decide to check out the outside and the neighborhoods to see if they are even worth dragging the hubs to. So I load up my girls (mistake #1) and hit the road. I've got an iPhone so I use that as my GPS. I had 10 houses that I wanted to check out today. That was my goal. However, out of 6, I could only find 1! The entire time I was driving, Chloe (the baby) was barking. Loudly. Jaci wasn't much better. She was whining the entire time!! They were driving me insane!

While I was driving, I saw like 5 GORGEOUS houses for sale. I called to see if the owners would consider renting and, of course, they said no. When I proceeded to ask the realtors if they had any homes for rent, they told me to look on the internet or in the paper. Um, duh!  Excuse me for not having $500,000 to drop on a house I'm only going to live in for six months! So I gave up on the other 4 and went back to the hotel.

I'm emailing back and forth with a realtor right now to see if she has anything. Her response was that she had one. One house.  That's all. And she only deals with rentals. I'm about to go check it out. I don't think we're going to get a pool or the lake...

XOXO,

On The Hunt!

I'm just getting ready to head out (get lost) to a few surrounding towns and look houses! I'm excited. However the place the hubs works seems to be ghetto country. You know, lots of "New and Beautiful Double Wides!", big tires in the yard, red barns; basically a Trace Adkins song.

However, I've managed to find some really nice ones. My husband really wants to live on the lake, I really want a house with a pool. We don't have a boat and I'm not about to float around in a lake so, we'll have to see what I can find. Hopefully something that will please us both. I'm going to check out neighborhoods today before I make appointments to see the actual houses with the realtor. I don't want to have to be like, "Um, yeah, lets move on to number 15 because I ain't about to have them as my neighbors!"

So, wish me luck ladies! I forgot my camera cord back in Shreveport but hopefully I can post some photos next week!

XOXO,

Hello Jackson!

I know, I know. I say I'm back and then go days without a post. You'll have to forgive me, we are in the process of moving. Again. The hubs is now being transferred to Mississippi. So, anyone in the Jackson area? I'm desperate for friends!

I've decided to be much more optimistic and excited about this move. For one, I think the area we'll be living will be nicer. I'm going to branch out and attempt to make some friends and I'm going to look for opportunities to volunteer and I may even get a part-time job. Maybe. I've already made my first plans! On March 10 I'm going to Jackson to hear Rudy Giuliani speak.

For the next month, we'll be living in a Candlewood Suite hotel. It's pretty nice. Small, but it has everything we need and the best thing is they let me have my dogs in the hotel. This works out so much better. Since Bobby works so much he wouldn't be able to go back to Shreveport so I've decided to hotel-it with him. I'll slowly start looking for a house for us in the area and wrapping and packing things up back in Shreveport.

So, here's to my new life in Jackson, MS. Tomorrow I'll be posting an award, so be on the look-out, I just might tag you!

XOXO,
