Tales from the Gym

Today I saw quite possibly the funniest thing I have EVER seen! If you don't know yet, I'm one of those people who laughs at the most inappropriate times and at the most inappropriate things. I have sort of a mean sense of humor...that I love. So, today was one of those. I was working out in the training area, you know where they keep the light weights, exercise balls and mats? I had my iPod in, as usual, and I see out of the corner of my eye this older (50ish) guy working out. He's using light free weights and, no joke, is flailing his arms everywhere! He's spinning and twisting all over the place...looking slightly ridiculous. I just kinda laughed under my breath and went back to working out. After maybe 2 or 3 minutes (at least a full song) I hear him yell, "What do I have to do to work out in peace around here!?" Then, he throws down (literally throws) his weights, pulls the towel out of his pants (ewww!) throws it on the ground, picks it up and storms (think a 5-year-old) out of the gym. Everyone in that area just stared, speechless. I, of course, cracked up. Hilarious!

Also, as I was changing, there was this girl being all modest in the locker room, you have to know me, I'm not ashamed to change in front of other girls...at all. She actually put her shorts on under her skirt! But...if you could have seen what the girl put on -- she should have just gone into the gym area in her undies! She had on the tightest, shortest shorts -- think volleyball spandex, and a really tight half-top (which should be outlawed). It was crazy! Oh these people...

Also, can I just tell you how excited I am about The Hills being back!! I know, I'm a dork. But I don't even care!

A Fabulous Post!

So today I had a pretty rotten day. Work has been beyond stressful since are incredibly understaffed and are steady receiving work. So, to break from the stress that is my job, I decided to hop onto blogspot...and guess what!? One of my favorite bloggers was kind enough to give me an award today! And just to be clear, Her Highness of Cute was one of my favorites before she bestowed this way too cute award on me!

Seriously, cutest award ever, or what?!  So, on the rules:

1. The Hills. Really, I don't even care if you make fun of me. It's my guilty pleasure, and I don't even care. The show is pointless, stupid, unrealistic (reality show by a**), not smart, not funny, but seriously, I thrive on it! Honestly, I'd kill for Lauren, Whitney or Heidi's job! And clothes!

2.  Shoes. Ever since we've started getting caught up on our debt, I've been treating myself to a new pair of shoes almost ever week. I love it!

3.  New York. Yes, the city. And yes, I would definitely call it an addiction. I even considered moving there. Without Husband! This was right after college. I think I was having an identity crisis.

4.  Alaskan King Crab. Definitely my favorite food. By far.

5.  Apple products. I love love love my iMac, my iPhone and my iPod. Seriously, LOVE THEM!
